My Writer's Profile

Hi my Name Jordyn. I am  9 years old. I am from Hokitika.
I go to Hokitika primary school. I like playing rippa rugby. I'm interested in reading
Diaries of the Wimpy kid. I want to be a riding instructor when I grow up  because
I really like horses.

Writers workshop helps me with my writing by showing me how to make my
stories interesting so people want to read them. I need to use capital letters and
punctuation so my stories make sense.

The lost kitten

One day there was a lost kitten. The kitten was left out in the wild in a little hole in the
ground. He only had an empty jar of cat food and a purple fluffy blanket. Two hours
later three hunters
came along. One of the hunters said, “what's this, a Kitten!”
The boss said, ‘’it looks lost”.
‘’Well what do we do with it”  one of the hunters asked.
‘’Well we can't just leave it out here in the wild’’, the boss replied. So the hunters took it
to a  town and on lampposts and trees there were little notices, which said,

The hunters didn’t know how to get to the house and they didn't have a  phone so they
looked around them. They saw a police station and went inside. The hunters said to the policeman, “we found a cat’. The policeman asked the man, who had found the lost cat
in the wild,
“did you see the poster’?
“Yes” said the Hunters, but we don't have a phone and we don't know where the house is.
The policeman pulled out a lost kitten notice and asked the hunters “is this the notice”.
“Yes”  said the Hunters. The police officer called Chloe and she came to the police station
\straight away she was so, so happy that they had found her cat.
